316 and 316L stainless steel wire are high-quality steel wires made from austenitic stainless steel, possessing excellent corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance, and good mechanical strength. 316L is a low-carbon version of 316, with a lower carbon content (≤0.03%), 316 has a higher carbon content (≤0.08%), resulting in slightly higher mechanical strength. 316 prioritizes strength and general corrosion resistance, while 316L is more suitable for welding and applications involving long-term exposure to corrosive media.
