Products Description
Stainless Steel Wire for Weaving Mesh is typically made from a combination of iron, carbon, and chromium, along with other elements like nickel, molybdenum, and manganese, depending on the grade. The chromium content (at least 10.5%) is what gives stainless steel its corrosion-resistant properties.
● Wire Diameter: Can range from very fine wires (0.016mm) to thicker wire (4mm)
● Material: depending on the application, the most common grades of stainless steel is 304 304L 316 316L 310 321 904L 201 etc.
● Plain Weave: This is the most common type of weave, where each wire alternates over and under the other. It creates a balanced, uniform mesh.
● Twill Weave: This weave involves passing the wire over two or more wires at a time, creating a more flexible and stronger mesh compared to plain weave.
● Dutch Weave: In this weave, finer wires are woven into thicker wires, which results in a more rigid and durable mesh often used in filtration applications.
● Reverse Dutch Weave: Similar to Dutch weave but with the direction of the finer wire reversed.
● Crimped: The thicker and harder wire usually used for weaving crimped mesh.
● Welded: The thicker and harder wire usually used for weaving crimped mesh.

316 and 316L stainless steel wire are made from high-quality stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance and high strength. Diameters range from 0.016 mm to 5 mm, and can be customized to customer requirements. Products conform to various international standards, including ASTM/UNS (316 / 316L, S31600 / S31603), EN (1.4401 / 1.4404), JIS (SUS316 / SUS316L), and DIN (X5CrNiMo17-12-2 / X2CrNiMo17-12-2).
304 and 304L stainless steel wire are both common 300 series austenitic stainless steel wires, with designations corresponding to 1.4301 (304) and 1.4307 (304L) respectively. Both are renowned for their excellent corrosion resistance, high-temperature performance, and good machinability, and are widely used in industrial manufacturing, wire mesh weaving, and structural components.
Nichrome wire is a high-performance electrothermal material with nickel and chromium as its main components. It features stable resistance, excellent high-temperature resistance, and outstanding oxidation resistance. It is widely used in industrial heaters, electric furnaces, laboratory equipment, and precision temperature control systems.
