Products Description

Super duplex stainless steel wire mesh is a high-performance metal mesh. It combines the stainless and corrosion resistance of austenitic stainless steel with the high strength of ferritic stainless steel, featuring a unique austenitic-ferritic duplex structure. It possesses characteristics such as corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, wear resistance, and high strength. Its strength is almost twice that of traditional 304/316 stainless steel. Common grades include 2205 (UNS S32205/S31803) and 2507 (UNS S32750).

Super Duplex Stainless Steel Wire Mesh is enriched with high levels of chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen, providing outstanding resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, even in neutral chloride solutions above 60°C. Compared with standard austenitic stainless steel (e.g., AISI 316L), high-chromium duplex grades—especially those containing nitrogen—offer significantly better corrosion resistance. In addition, duplex stainless steel exhibits high strength and fatigue resistance, with a yield strength roughly twice that of 18-8 austenitic stainless steel, and maintains excellent performance across a wide temperature range.
