In electric fence systems, Poly wire (often called "electric fence wire") is a composite structural material with a core made of woven metal wire (conductor) and polyethylene (insulating layer) wrapped on the outside.

Several different types of metal wires suitable for electric fence wire
Stainless steel Wire 304 or 316Features: extremely strong corrosion resistance, suitable for high humidity, coastal or chemically polluted environments, but the cost is high.
Applicable scenarios: permanent fences or harsh environments for long-term use.
Galvanized steel Wire
Features: low cost, corrosion resistance (galvanized layer protection), high mechanical strength, it is the most commonly used material in electric fences.
